Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle's excellent technical war was confined to history by virtue of the event itself rarely getting a spotlight from WWE, but their 'Show Of Shows' Championship clash was the best of an outstanding series that stretched through much of 2004.

Guerrero's "Lie, Cheat & Steal" mantra was unbelievably over - for all Eddie worked to outwork 'The Wrestling Machine', it ultimately came down to underhanded tactics to leave Madison Square Garden with his title in tact.

This was 'Latino Heat's WrestleMania zenith. Not only would he fail to meet expectations against Rey Mysterio one year later, but he'd also never produce a love letter to everything that made him such a special performer as he did on this night.
