4. Where Was Jake?
Seeing Deaner beaten down by Joe Doering last week, Chris Sabin and James Storm confronted Violent By Design for their tactics towards the Deaner cousin, particularly questioning Eric Young for the way he's changed compared to his previous Impact career. Instead, they were both left laying by VBD in a simple beatdown.
A match was made for Sacrifice that will see the Violent By Design duo of Deaner and Doering, accompanied by 'The World Class Maniac', facing Beer Guns, who'll have Jake Something in their corner. Where was Jake at here, though?
He's engulfed himself in all things Violent By Design ever since the then-Cody Deaner turned on him at December's Final Resolution event. He's beaten Deaner twice - good for him. If he's going to still care about the group, you'd expect him to save Sabin and Storm as opposed to meeting up with them later on. A minor Down for sure, but it needs to be noted regardless.
