7 Ups & 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (11 Oct)
Downs...
8. Human After All
Funny how when WWE completely butcher a character they expect the heart still to beat.
The Fiend's run/crawl-in during the Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns opener was, presumably, a one-and-done makegood from WWE to repair some of the damage done to the character at Sunday's Hell In A Cell. Predictably, it didn't really work.
Ahead of Bray Wyatt's drafting to SmackDown, there was a dread that this feud would subsequently continue, but the company will probably count this segment as him getting his heat back before the two possibly go belt-for-belt at the Survivor Series in November. For Wyatt, this particular stunt was more about getting his breath back - the poor f*cker looked as knackered as his gimmick now is having to run to the top of the ramp after his ring-breaking theatrics with 'The Architect'.
The road back to where he was a week ago is far longer than the SmackDown ramp.
