5. Odds-On Favorite?

It€™s statements like that that just make you groan about the announcers. Sure, Big Show is the largest wrestler on the WWE roster, but why does that make him the €œodds-on favorite€ to win the Royal Rumble? In fact, if you crunch the numbers, out of the 10 Rumbles Show has competed in, he has only entered one Rumble earlier than #22 (#6). He€™s entered at #30 twice and #29 once. He€™s been a runner-up twice. But Show has never won a Royal Rumble.The announcers made sure to mention during his match against Ryback talking about how Big Show won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal earlier this year, but that alone does not mean he€™s a favorite in the Rumble. As the stats above bear out, he€™s had plenty of really good opportunities and has never won, so why now?
