With the night's chaotic opening fresh in the minds of all six men involved in the main event, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch took on the disgruntled unit of Finn Balor, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong.

From the off, the complex dynamic between the apparent babyface squad made for a compelling watch. O'Reilly evidently wanted nothing to do with his Undisputed teammate, opting to tag in Balor instead of Strong early on. After a largely back-and-forth spell, the Kings of NXT flexed their in-sync muscles, isolating O'Reilly from his conflicted teammates.

This tactic wouldn't work forever, though, as Balor exploded into the contest off the hot tag, eviscerating his adversaries with a storm of violence. However, Balor's luck would run out as Burch introduced the NXT Championship to proceedings, leading to the referee feeling the burn on the back of a dropkick to Dunne in the corner. The downed official then opened the door for some shenanigans as Adam Cole suddenly appeared and launched the Champion across the ring and into the ref once again.

Not done there, Cole then targeted O'Reilly once more, nailing him with a kick to the jaw and devastating suplex onto the steel steps. The drama wasn't over, however, as Balor accidentally wiped out his teammate Strong, thinking Cole was back for more. This crossing of wires led to a match-ending Bitter End from Dunne, and yet another superkick to 'The Prince's face from Cole as the dust settled.

Where this is all going is still wide open at this point, with a three-way for the NXT Championship and a bitter grudge match between O'Reilly and Cole just two of the mouth-watering options. For now, let's just enjoy what is set to be a riveting ride.

Oh, and thankfully, O'Reilly's post-match 'seizure' was simply the star being excellent at his job and nothing serious.
