4. Cena Sleeps In For Christmas

John Cena is one of the best big-match wrestlers in WWE this century. That’s not hyperbole.

But when he’s sleepwalking through a match, it’s pretty obvious. And Monday certainly looked like he was on autopilot.

Granted, Cena on automatic is still better than a lot of other wrestlers. But his match against Elias lacked something and was very punch-and-kick heavy. There were some nice moments – and Elias looked competitive in defeat – but it just felt very basic overall. It’s hard to describe, but this wouldn’t be one to put on the highlight reel for 2017.
