5. From Verbal To Physical
After weeks of verbal sparring, things were bound to break down into a physical confrontation between Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt, and that’s what we got Monday night.
Wyatt was entering the ring, presumably to give a rambling promo about how Hardy is a false prophet spreading hope and offering fake salvation, when the Woken One attacked Bray as he blew out his lantern. Wyatt fled, allowing Hardy to grab a mic and give a lengthy, weird laugh that went on for a good 15-20 seconds.
While the confrontation lasted all of a minute, it was good to see the two strange superstars interact in the real world as opposed to dueling promos. It’ll be interesting to see how things shake out in the coming weeks, but at least things moved ahead a little Monday.
