5. Bump In The Road
It’s odd to say that Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy winning their match and moving to a Raw Tag Team Championship match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event is a negative, but we’re going to give it a very tepid “down” here.
When they partnered at WrestleMania, it was seen as a possible saving grace for both men and opened the door to intriguing possibilities. And while it might still gel really well, Monday night just felt very forced, with everything – their themes, antics, moves – being stapled together rather than something new and different.
This is something that’s more of a feel than a strong opinion, and next week they could click on all cylinders and earn positive marks. But for this week, we’ll give them a gentle “down” and hope for better next week.
