2. Sami And Kevin Show Earns High Marks
If you didn’t crack up a little watching Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens verbally assault GM Kurt Angle, check your pulse.
Zayn and Owens took turns mocking Angle, stating that Stephanie McMahon had his manhood locked up, forgetting how many kids he had (they neglected to count Jason Jordan), and then noting that Angle forgot about Jordan for much of his life too.
It was the kind of antics that made them thorns in SmackDown leaders’ sides, and KO and Sami just kept it going in their first full night on Raw. It was highly entertaining, and it pushed Angle’s buttons, which could produce some great moments if worked through properly.
And just a special note for how great Zayn is as a smarmy heel. Here was a guy doing next-to-nothing on Raw a year ago when he went to SmackDown and then eventually turned things around to being a central figure who was in a prominent match at WrestleMania.
