Was there any doubt that Brock Lesnar was going to run over Kofi Kingston? The only way this could have been remotely competitive was if the knee injury Brock suffered a couple weeks ago carried over or if the match was made no-DQ and all three members of New Day jumped Lesnar. Neither happened, and Brock made short work of Kofi, no-selling everything Kingston threw at him, snapping off three German suplexes and ending things quickly with an F5. As a match, it was a total squash. But from the spectacle standpoint, fans in attendance got to see Brock in action throwing Kofi around and then beating up the rest of the New Day.Lesnars appearance also re-established his dominance after looking vulnerable at the hands of the Authority. Brocks appeal is that hes all-but immune to pain, and while getting beat up by four men wielding a steel chair is one thing, showing weakness for any length of time would go against his character. It was good to see the self-described a**-kicker back doing what he does best.
