What was that green belt with a gold buckle R-Truth wore to the ring Monday night? It was an interesting piece of ring attire.
Oh, it was a championship? Must’ve been a throwback as part of his look. Oh, it’s an active title? Really?
Yes, the 24/7 Championship is alive and well, which we wouldn’t really know as it hadn’t really been seen on Raw since Survivor Series. The title and the shenanigans involved in wrestlers trying to win the title had been a humorous staple of the program for a few months this summer and trailed off this fall, but it really has disappeared in the last several weeks.
Truth wore the title, with the 24/7 defense suspended for the match. As soon as he lost, a host of jobbers stormed the ringside area, and Truth was off to the races to escape. And that was the last we saw of the 24/7 Championship.
And given how the last few weeks have been, it might be the last time we see the title for 2019.
