A match between Sami Zayn and Stardust might seem like an odd pairing, but the truth is, Sami needs to introduce himself to the larger WWE audience, and a bout like this was a good way to do it.
One of Zayns best qualities that help him connect with fans is taking a beating and then coming back to Helluva Kick an opponent into defeat. When done right, fans rally behind Sami and start cheering like crazy for him. While Stardust isnt Samoa Joe or Kevin Owens, he provided a formidable enough opponent for Sami to rally against and ultimately beat.
