Twenty-four hours removed from a Royal Rumble PPV that crowned a new (and 14-time) world champion, Raw took the first steps on the Road to WrestleMania. The big development Monday night was an announcement of the main event for Fastlane, which would determine the main event for Mania. (Got that?) Whether you agree with the decision to change the script of how the Rumble match typically worked to instead be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the fact is that the decision prompted a change in plans for the February PPV. Typically, the WrestleMania world title match is known the day after the Rumble, but were going to have to wait four weeks for that to be revealed in a triple threat that pits two men from last years Mania main event with the current Intercontinental Champion. Theres a certain logic gap with that thinking (which well get to later), but besides that point, Raw was steaming along toward mediocrity until a major Miami-based superstar made an appearance, dominating the middle portion of the show. It wasnt Thursday night, but he laid the smack down on several wrestlers during his visit. So what raised eyebrows and what got hit with the Peoples Elbow? Lets get to it
