6. Rusev Doesn’t Know How Movies Work
Oh come on. Now we’re just deliberately making Rusev look dumb.
So it was bad enough that Shawn Michaels came back not to reminisce about the Royal Rumble and how it changed his life, but to plug his new movie. That drew out Rusev (and Lana and Jinder Mahal), who told HBK that he should put Lana in the movie to make it better. Michaels rightly pointed out that the movie is coming out in 11 days, so that just was not possible. But Rusev simply repeated himself over and over and over, insisting that Lana be put into the movie with CGI.
It was a brutal segment, which continued with Enzo Amore & Big Cass continuing to mock Rusev and Jinder and make more movie references. Some might have enjoyed the bit, but this writer was just wondering what else they could have thought to have Michaels do that would have been more useful with his time.
