Call Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows whatever you want – fun sponges, party poopers – but they pulled a nice gag on Enzo Amore during their eight-man tag match Monday night.

Anderson and Gallows have rebranded themselves as no-nonsense wrestlers lately, more focused on being mean and making green. The image suits them much better than the doctors and retirement home directors that they were portraying for a while during their New Day feud. So when they teamed with fun-loving rivals Enzo & Big Cass, it felt like we were destined for a blow-up of some kind.

What we got instead was the Club hitting the Magic Killer on Primo and then signaling to Enzo to hit a splash onto him… only to turn around and just pin Primo for the win instead. It was a great little move to just act like buzzkills once again, and it allowed fans to boo them for being snide heels, without resorting to the teams coming to blows.
