As much criticism as has been given to the League of Nations, the group has served a purpose: as cannon fodder for Roman Reigns and his family of Dean Ambrose and the Usos. The quartet has been the perfect punching bags for Reigns, but with three of the four members on the shelf at the moment, it fell to someone else to get whooped. Unfortunately, that someone else were the WWE Tag Team Champions, New Day. On one hand, its great to see the tag champs in a main event slot every now and again, as they consistently are one of the most entertaining parts of Raw. But putting your tag champs out there to simply fill a spot on Roman and Deans dance card in a (largely) meaningless match is just a waste.WWE could have put all four members of the Social Outcasts out there to fill the same spot, or had Golden Truth make their much-anticipated debut as a team. Sending your tag champs out to lose a match with no purpose is just lazy booking, plain and simple.
