I feel I have laboured this point in the past, but is there a more can't-miss star in professional wrestling today than Ethan Carter III. The former Derrick Bateman quite literally has all of the tools one needs to become a genuine star in the industry, and TNA is lucky enough to have him on their roster. He has been one of the few bright spots on their televisual output over the last couple of years, and putting the world title on him was something of a no-brainer. TNA must make him the number one guy in the company, and run with it. He wasn't booked particularly strongly after winning the title (why do companies do that?), despite winning it from Kurt Angle clean as a whistle. ECIII should be the man, and his eventual genuine first loss should be a huge deal. He has the tools to be a top heel or a top babyface. The first steps to rehabilitation for TNA have to involve Ethan Carter III. I for one hope they survive and begin to thrive, as there's never enough great wrestling available. Here's hoping.
