2. Braun Backs Down Again

What is WWE doing with the wrestling world’s new favorite giant? On multiple occasions now, they’ve had him back down from a fight when things got too scary for him. He did it with Roman. He did it with The Undertaker. And now, Brock Lesnar is too much. Who will he run away from next? Increasingly neurotic Sami Zayn?

On Monday Night, we were teased that Brock would have his first match on Raw in 14 years. They didn't deliver that, and all we got was a face-to-face encounter featuring the much bigger wrestler walking away. The old "we fight on MY time" trope. That works out fine when you're playing a chicken s**t heel, but not when you're the size of a mountain who can eat 250 lb men.

It seemed the obvious route to go was to give us one of those gigantic, ungodly, super fun pull-apart brawls where 375 different security guards would come in and have to tear Brock and Braun away from each other. That would have given the giant some of his heat back.

It was another bad outing for Braun, who was already having a bad week because he didn't get to carry that big, silly Andre the Giant trophy over the course of the next year. Of course, WWE can rebuild him and make him feel like a dominant monster again, but he should have never been de-pushed in the first place.

Let's just hope he doesn't find his way on the SmackDown side of things after the shake-up, as Bray Wyatt already has one ineffective henchman...and an insect problem...
