7 WWE Survivor Series 2015 Match Predictions

Where do WWE go next after WWE Hell In A Cell?

By Kenny McIntosh /

With WWE€™s Hell In A Cell network supershow in the bag, it€™s time to look forward to the thanksgiving tradition that is the Survivor Series. The last €˜Big 4€™ pay per-view of 2015 comes to us on November 22nd from Atlanta, Georgia. Now, trying to predict WWE€™s booking is tougher than a rubix cube given their notion for changing plans on a weekly basis but I€™m gonna give it a go.

If you were a kid from the 1980€™s then you might have grown up on Survivor Series shows being exclusively 8 or 10 man elimination style matches. WWE would do this for years but the buy rates for the show were always a little lower than everything else so in the mid 90€™s, Vince and company decided to have one or two elimination matches a year and fill out the rest of the card with title bouts and grudge matches.

I€™m willing to pretty much bet my entire Coliseum Video collection (which is extensive) that Vince McMahon will follow his more recent formula of having a couple of elimination matches with the rest of the show filled with regular encounters.

So lets get in our DeLorean and predict the future...

US Title Match - Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro

When Zeb Colter turns up on a mobile scooter, you know you€™re in for a good night. But when he introduced Alberto Del Rio as his new protege at Hell In A Cell, my jaw dropped. Sure, we€™d heard rumblings that Mr. Patron was open to a WWE return, but challenging John Cena and beating him clean to become the new United States Champion was as shocking as any moment in 2015.

Since Jack Swagger has fallen off the face of the earth, it got me to thinking who Del Rio€™s first challenger could be. With the babyface side of the roster pretty thin on star power with Lesnar, Cena and Orton unavailable for Survivor Series, who would be a good fit to take on the Mexican Aristocrat? Well, with Zeb involved, there€™s only one name that makes sense and it€™s Cesaro.

The Swiss Superman has floundered recently but chasing the US title could be a step in the right direction. As a Former Real American, Cesaro and Zeb have a history together coupled with Cesaro & Del Rio€™s physical styles. This has all the ingredients for a great feud.
