The towering Satnam Singh debuted as last night's episode of Dynamite came to a close, aligning with Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt following Samoa Joe's Ring Of Honor Television Championship victory over Minoru Suzuki in the main event. It was the Indian-born former basketball player's first on-camera AEW appearance since signing for the promotion back in September.

Singh emerged when the lights cut out after Lethal and Dutt had delivered their promised gift to Joe following the Suzuki bout (it turned out to be a giant prop middle finger in a box). Standing in the ring when the lights came back on, Singh struck Joe from behind, then held his skull in a vice grip, stifling the ROH TV Champion's attempted fightback, allowing Lethal to put his former mentor down with a Lethal Injection.

Met with a lukewarm crowd reaction (likely down a lack of familiarity with Singh), it was a relatively cold way to close an otherwise hot show.

Singh, 26, stands at a legitimate 7'3" and weighed around 290lbs during his basketball career. He became the first Indian player to be involved in the NBA draft when the Dallas Mavericks selected him at number 52 in 2015, though he never played NBA basketball beyond Summer League appearances.
