8 Awesome NXT Entrances WWE Made Uncool
8. EC3
The Top One Percent has about a one percent chance of escaping the doldrums he currently finds himself in with the way he's been booked by WWE in 2019.
EC3 originally caught fire in IMPACT due to how cool his entrance came across, with the privileged nephew of former IMPACT president Dixie Carter throwing his initials up on the big screen in front of him on the ramp before slowly turning around so the crowd could admire him.
To Triple H's credit, he copied that entrance for EC3 almost to a tee when he joined NXT at the onset of 2018. Of course, the booming voice announcing "Ladies and gentlemen, EC3" was replaced by EC3 himself saying "I am the Top One Percent," but it was effective, nonetheless.
WWE promoted EC3 to the main roster out of nowhere earlier this year and had no plan in place for him. He thankfully kept his entrance, but the more meaningless matches he lost, the less cool it became. It reached a point where he visibly couldn't have cared less while making his way to the ring and didn't bother to put as much effort into it as he once did.
In typical WWE fashion, they took something special and practically ruined it.
