It may not always seem as though WWE Creative is paying attention to details, but every once in a while, they surprise us. The 2015 Royal Rumble concluded with Roman Reigns eliminating Rusev to win the match and cash his ticket to WrestleMania. This year's Rumble started just as the year prior ended, with the juggernaut battling The Bulgarian Brute. His star significantly dimmer than it was a year ago, Rusev was hardly a match for the WWE world heavyweight champion, but that did not hurt what was a clever little booking strategy by those in charge of putting together the best match imaginable. The story was even hinted at a few weeks back, when Reigns battled Rusev in singles competition.
