8 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Survivor Series 2017

8. A Premature Cash-In

SmackDown's women's division is finally on an upward trajectory. Plagued by faceless multi-person feuds all year long, it has been given a shot in the arm by Charlotte Flair and Natalya's on/off rivalry, and while crowded storylines aren't yet a thing of the past, their prominence is definitely decreasing at the moment (Survivor Series aside).

This is a pivotal time for the division. What Charlotte and her SmackDown Women's Championship really need is a long, competitive reign, full of compelling one-on-one rivalries, without the five and six-way feuds that have obliterated the division's personality in 2017.

Flair is the ideal personal to rebuild around, but there's a strong chance Carmella could bring her run to a premature end this weekend.

'The Princess Of Staten Island' has been carrying her Money In The Bank briefcase since June, and the clock is ticking on her inevitable cash-in. Doing so this weekend would be problematic on both a micro and macro level: it'd derail a potentially exciting bout between Flair and Alexa Bliss, and plunge the division back into the darkness, which is why we're praying it doesn't happen.
