8 Biggest Show Stealing WWE SummerSlam Matches Ever

6. Shawn Michaels Vs. Razor Ramon - Ladder Match, 1995

In 1995, Shawn Michaels was just biding his time before he was moved pushed into the World Title picture. As the Intercontinental Champion, he walked into SummerSlam prepared to face Sycho Sid, to settle their issues which went back to WrestleMania. However, when Vince McMahon realized the card was headed for disaster, Sid was replaced with Razor Ramon, to reprise the ladder match from WrestleMania X. Leading up to this match, WWE instituted a violence code which prevented Michaels and Razor from actually using the ladder as a weapon. Instead they had to settle for things such as landing on it, jumping off it, or running into it. Shawn would defeat Razor, in Razor's last great showing in the WWE. Michaels/Ramon II outdid everything else on the card, and managed to meet the immense expectations WrestleMania X had set. It also had the main eventers that year, Diesel and King Mabel, begging to let this match go last before it even happened. Shawn Michaels versus Razor Ramon was an all-time great rivalry, I only wish we could have seen it at the World Title level.
