8. Yokozuna's WWF Championship Reign - 9 Minutes

At WrestleMania IX, Yokozuna defeated Bret Hart to claim his first WWF Championship. Despite Yokozuna finishing the match earlier than Hart had planned, it was still the best bout on what was a shockingly bad card. But just as the night was about to come to an end, Hulk Hogan made his way down to the ring, and in an impromptu match, closed the show as new WWF Champion.

Yokozuna's brief reign bothers fans mostly because they believe Hogan had no reason to win the title, having recently returned to the company from hiatus. Hogan pitched the idea to Vince McMahon, and they decided to go ahead with the plans, all while keeping Bret Hart in the dark until the night before 'Mania. Hogan was infamous for pulling strings backstage to get his own way, and no amount of time away from WWF was going to change that upon his return.
