5. How Will Largest Rumble Go?

Seven years ago, WWE held a 40-participant Royal Rumble. It was not kindly received.

At 40 entrants, the Rumble was long. There were too many dead spots, and it was difficult to maintain momentum for such a long match.

Now, add 10 more men.

Keep in mind that some of the recent 30-man Rumbles have been lackluster, and you have to worry that this could be a trainwreck of epic proportions. However, there is the possible saving grace of star power: Several big names have been announced for the match, including Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho.

That could help power this Rumble through such a long event. Also, we could see shorter intervals, maybe 60 seconds instead of 90. But we’ll see…
