8 Conclusions From WWE SmackDown (June 18)

8. Ambrose Or Reigns Will Turn Heel... Eventually

The bromance between these two former Shield compadres shows no signs of abating. Many armchair bookers believed, before Roman Reigns was denied by Bray Wyatt at Money In The Bank, that Reigns would cash-in on his friend Dean Ambrose should he come out on top in his Ladder Match against Seth Rollins. It didn't happen, of course - ensuring that the Lunatic Fringe and Roman remain best buddies for the time being.

Ambrose was saved from his 2-on-1 handicap match beatdown by the timely arrival of Reigns. His interference caused a DQ and for Ambrose to lose the match, but with nothing riding on the result, Dean surely didn't mind. A backstage moment between the two men further solidified their friendship in the minds of the viewers.

It might not come any time soon, but if WWE continue to push these men as great pals it would be a stunning heel turn if one were to betray the other. Ambrose appears the most beloved overall, favoured by smart fans and casuals both - Roman Reigns will surely double-cross him... one day.
