Great Grandparents: Amituana Anoa'i & Tovale Anoa'i

As the Tonga Kid and lata Tama, Jacob Fatu's father was quite the athletic bad*ss for WWE in the late 1980s as one half of The Islanders and for WCW in the Samoan Swat Team. Bringing all the intensity his lineage promised, Tama was a wicked sh*tkicker of a heel, but his son has thus far shown the potential to offer even more.

Something of a Samoan wrestling hybrid, Jacob Fatu seems but a single signing away from mainstream acclaim. Acting up to the high production standards of MLW since signing for the company in early 2019, Fatu built on his seven years training by capturing the company's World Heavyweight Championship just five months after his debut.

Both WWE and AEW have surely been keeping a close eye, with parties on both sides full of family and friends that could presumably put in quite the good word.
