8 Incredible Cover Versions Of WWE Theme Songs Hiding On YouTube

So familiar yet...so wonderfully different.

By Jacob Trowbridge /

WWE fans may very well be the most passionate bunch in all of the land. It's not just the superstars that invest so much of their time and energy into the realm of sports entertainment, with the fans pouring themselves into every aspect of the product. (Hell, that's evidenced by the sheer volume of wrestling-related merchandise that sells.) Some of these fans take it upon themselves to be not just spectators, but also creators in the WWE universe. Fan art, copyright-iffy t-shirts, voodoo dolls (no joke)...there's clearly no shortage of creativity when it comes to the WWE viewing audience. And then there's the outrageous number of musically gifted fans who make their own cover versions of famous superstar entrance music. Maybe WWE should consider hiring some of these folks to give their theme music a few updates?

8. 100 Theme Songs In A Piano Medley (By Lucas King)

Who knew that a superstar's theme music could sound so good when played exclusively on a piano, let alone 100 superstars' theme songs? Introduced as a "name that tune" for YouTubers to test their theme song mettle, Lucas King has several piano medleys that include dozens of entrance music from superstars past and present. And there's no doubt about it that they all sound much, much different on the keys. Some fit perfectly (anything remotely classical, like The Undertaker and Goldust's themes are well-suited) while others sound mesmerizingly strange, like you're hearing them for the very first time. The Rock's music sounds like it was always destined to be played on the piano and it just took everyone way too long to figure it out.
