8. Emmalina Debuts! (And Then Just As Quickly Departs)

On this week's episode of RAW, it finally happened.

Since October 3, WWE had hyped the arrival of Emmalina - a groundbreaking character repackage which would see the already fairly glamorous Emmalina became a little bit more glamorous. And there she was - "was" being the operative word.

She "premiered" onstage with new, twinkly entrance music, adorned in an expensive-looking, sequinned ball gown, looking every bit as enchanting as a Bond girl. Hey, perhaps it was a rib at the expense of her Walmart shenanigans all along. She then addressed the WWE Universe: "For seventeen weeks, you have waited for the makeover from Emma to Emmalina. Well, here I am," she feigned, before exposing the baffling ruse. "And now, now you'll see the makeover from Emmalina to Emma. Thank you." She then exited the stage, presumably to never be seen or heard from again.

Her premiere had been teased out for four months. The pictures of said makeover were very raunchy, by WWE standards. Her neckline plunged to such an extent that most wouldn't have expected to last twenty seconds when she finally came - but it was Emmalina whose performance was premature.

The whole dispiriting and utter pointless ordeal was enough to make you cry. At least the kleenex was already in short reach.
