We love underdogs, don't we? As a culture, there are very few things we love more than seeing the statistical favorite get upset by the wild card. Seriously, short of porn and the new Star Wars trailer, is there a more researched topic on the internet than the unlikely hero? Professional wrestling, more than any other form of sports entertainment (even the NFL), thrives on pitting the underdog against impossible odds. And not every underdog has the chance of becoming a champion, or a superstar, or an inspirational story that will get passed along for generations to come. But when they do? Well, that's just about as good as it gets. Before you expect to see every Tom, Dick, and Jane who managed to eek out a win against a bigger adversary on this list, you need to understand that not all underdogs are created equal. And not all of them left a lasting impact on the WWE. So consider those left off this list to be the underdogs of the underdogs. Or something. Whatever makes you feel better, honestly.
