8. Ember Moon Will Shine Against Billie Kay

Ember Moon is one of NXT’s most exciting female signings in a while. Debuting in 2007, the former Athena has worked for some of the biggest independent promotions in the United States, and is now regarded as one of WWE’s hottest prospects. A supremely athletic worker with great charisma, she looks set to take the NXT women’s division by storm, and it won’t be long before she joins Bayley and Asuka as the elite.

She meets Australian grappler Billie Kay in Brooklyn. Billie’s been on a decent roll since appearing on an episode of SmackDown back in June, and she’s picked-up wins over Liv Morgan and Santana Garrett in recent weeks. As one of the females tasked with stepping into the gap left by Carmella and Nia Jax, Kay has prospered as a cocky heel, and should have a bright future in WWE’s women’s division.

Despite Billie’s recent push, it’s hard to bet against Ember Moon at this point. WWE love debuting new talents with a strong set of victories, particularly when they come with an independent resumé as strong as Ember’s. Perhaps it’ll end in controversy to spark a long-term story between the two, but for now, look for Ember to stake her claim on the NXT roster with a debut win.
