4. It's A Repeat Of Last Year's Story (But Worse!)
Last year, it made sense to put Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania. Nearly a full year was dedicated to his struggle against The Authority and chase of the championship, and the ONLY place that it should have concluded was on the grandest stage of them all. Besides which, the main event otherwise would have been Randy Orton vs Batista, one heel that fans had grown increasingly bored of over the summer, and one desperately out-of-shape guy who fans HATED. Nobody wanted that main event. But with this year, things are different. Brock Lesnar can outperform both Orton and Batista when he feels like it, and over the past year he's wrestled some of the best matches of his career. And in Reigns, we have a promising, albeit unpolished, diamond in the rough. Between these two, there is potential for a good, maybe even a great match. You could even call Daniel Bryan unnecessary to the proceedings. As well as this, Bryan does not have the same momentum going into this Wrestlemania that he did last year. He hasn't lost popularity, he just isn't a part of this story. His return to the spotlight will come in time.
