Kevin Owens is one of the most entertaining wrestlers in all of WWE. After spending far too many years on the independent scene, he was finally given a shot in the major leagues in 2014. It only took a short amount of time in NXT before management realized what they had, and called him up to the main roster. He was rewarded with a big push, as he put away John Cena in his first match, quickly establishing himself as one of the biggest players in the industry. Since that time, he's also been a pretty terrible heel.

The goal of a heel is to make fans want to pay their hard earned money to see them get beat up. It’s a huge part of what the foundation of professional wrestling has been built on. But right now, not many people are into the whole booing Kevin Owens thing. It’s a company-wide problem for most of their bad guys, but Owens in particular has been really tough to hate.

The reaction he receives from the audience is far too positive for him to be considered successful in the role he’s been cast in. Some of it is his fault, but much of it lays on the shoulders of management. Either way, something is going to need to change with his character if they want him to remain in a top position as a villain. Perhaps turning him face in the near future is the best route to go, as it seems he has a lot of potential on that side of the good/evil spectrum.
