8 Reasons WWE Must Sign Kenny Omega
8. Most Of The Other Best Stars Are Older
Kenny Omega is a veteran of the wrestling ring, having competed since 2000. All of that experience has come together to make him a superstar, but he's still got many years ahead of him in the wrestling business - he's only 33 years old.
To be fair, 33 isn't that young. WWE has plenty of great guys who haven't reached that age yet, including Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and all three former members of The Shield. When it comes to the very top echelon of in-ring workers, though, the clock is ticking. AJ Styles is 39 years old, while John Cena is the same age - in fact, he'll be turning 40 shortly after WrestleMania.
For the past year, Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura have been carrying NXT, but they're also getting up in years. Nakamura is turning 37 next year, while Joe will be 38. Of course, neither man seems slowed down by age, but as they're both still in developmental, it's hard to make a 10 (or even five) year plan around them.
