8 Simple Ways WWE Fans Can Help Improve The Product

3. Stop The Excessive Chanting

This suggestion will probably strike a chord for many of you, because this is an extremely divisive topic among wrestling fans. As it pertains to "excessive" chanting -- i.e. chants that go far beyond a well-placed "HO-LY SH*T!" or competing John Cena choruses -- people tend to either love being a part of these fan interactions or... they write articles like this one.

Let me start off by saying, most WWE fans who chant things don't go to the show just so they can ruin it for everyone else. Still, there's an air of entitlement and self-centeredness that comes along with exorbitant chanting, which seems to say "Look at me! I'm a part of the show now!"

Not only does it distract from the in-ring action, and take those around you (and often those at home) out of the show, but it reeks of petulance.

We're not saying you need to stop chanting altogether... just that you should save it for a time when it actually makes sense.

Also, not for nothing, when you fill the arena with anti-Roman Reigns or John Cena chants, that may not have as great of an effect as you imagine. The simple truth is, Vince McMahon wants his guys to get a reaction. Any reaction will do. So the better way to get your point across is to give them crickets.
