Oh how the mighty have fallen. Okay, so Curtis Axel wasn't ever really mighty, but just three years ago he was standing tall as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, aligned with Paul Heyman and interacting with CM Punk on a frequent basis. That was 2013, and in 2016 Curtis Axel finds himself at the bottom of the WWE food chain.

Curtis Axel was the last individual from the WWE main roster chosen last night. Whilst there is a danger in reading into things like that, the joke beforehand was that Tyler Breeze would get the spot. Axel was the last man to go, after such luminaries as The Ascension, Dana Brooke and Erick Rowan.

Heck, ever Mojo Rawley was chosen before Curtis Axel. Yes, Daniel Bryan, Mick Foley and both Shane and Stephanie McMahon saw more value in Mojo Rawley than the son of 'Mr. Perfect' last night. Axel's shirt may say 'Better Than Perfect', but last night Axel wasn't even better than Shining Stars.

No, I'm not hyped.
