For all I really enjoyed both Banks/Bálor and Miz/Asuka in the Mixed Match Challenge, why these two weren’t put together instead defies belief. Their gimmicks are absolutely made to work together.

The Miz is a flash star with a glitzy entrance, bags of confidence, solid in-ring ability and one of the most savage heel streaks seen anywhere in the company. Banks, by contrast, is all this and more.

While Banks toils away as a non-committal babyface, The Miz has spent the last 2 years aspiring to the levels of genius sh*t-housery she set during her time in NXT. Put together as a pair and given license to make children in the front row cry, they’d be worth tuning in for alone.
