When the masked terror of Kane was unleashed on WWE in 1997, nobody could have guessed that the huge man beneath that mask would go on to become a mild-mannered politician. Away from his day job as a demon, Glenn Jacobs has launched a political campaign to become the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

This week, Jacobs appeared on The Ross Report for a chat with JR about his WWE career and decision to pursue a passion for politics away from the ring. Throughout, he discussed his thoughts on the current product, how passionate he remains about pro wrestling and how positively he looks back on hokey gimmicks like Isaac Yankem D.D.S.

The 'fake' Diesel character didn't get away lightly either. It turns out that Jacobs is fully aware how fortunate he was to be cast as Kane, work with names like The Undertaker, and become a WWE stalwart for close to 20 years.
