While no official statement was ever made by either the WWE or CM Punk, a final blow was delivered just a few months ago. WWE reportedly received a legal letter from CM Punks legal team that was 22 pages in total. According to reports, the letter dealt with the companys continued sale of merchandise featuring Punks name and image and the royalties from those sales. Supposedly, the letter also referenced the recently released WWE 2K15 video game -- which prominently features CM Punks character in its Showcase story mode. It was never made clear if there was any sort of official response from the WWE in regard to the 22-page letter. However, shortly after the news broke, the company quickly liquidated its remaining CM Punk merchandise. The superstars DVD, apparel, and figures have since been removed from WWEShop.com, however, he was still an integral part of the WWE 2K15 video game.
