3. The CM Punk Drama

CM Punk hasn't been inside a WWE ring since working the 2014 Royal Rumble. Shortly after being eliminated, Punk had a frosty meeting with Vince McMahon and Triple H; he'd tell both that he was "going home", and didn't show up for work 24 hours later for the post-PPV edition of Raw.

This had to be a frustrating night for Hunter.

Trips clearly didn't have much time for Punk's personality or attitude. They'd clashed on screen, but even that always seemed to be based on some real-life animosity between the pair behind the scenes. At the Rumble, Hunter likely wanted to give the rebel a piece of his mind for effectively walking out on WWE.

Worse, Batista's returning win as a babyface hero had tanked in front of the live audience, so McMahon was probably p*ssed off anyway. Then, adding fuel to the fire, Triple H watched his father-in-law get brushed aside by somebody he didn't have much time for anyway.
