One month after the tournament's initial announcement, WWE have just crowned their first United Kingdom Champion. 19-year-old Tyler Bate walked away with the gold and emerged as one of WWE's brightest new stars after overcoming Jordan Devlin, Wolfgang, and Pete Dunne in a thrilling night of action, and the tournament finals were a complete success across the board.

The first night presented an enjoyable night of wrestling without any real blow-away performances, but last night took it to the next level. Every match was well worked, entertaining, and served a purpose. The storytelling was on-point throughout, several new faces made a lasting impression with the WWE Universe, and if WWE choose to go ahead with their proposed UK-based Network show, they've built a perfect launchpad.

From great matches and a white-hot crowd to Tommy End's debut and Finn Balor's surprise appearance, last night ticked all the boxes. This was a near perfect conclusion to another successful WWE tournament, and by the time the show went off the air, the only disappointment was that it had to come to an end. The execution was tremendous, and the effort put forward by Bate, Dunne, and the rest of the tournament's cast will live long in the memory.
