As 2020 finally f*cked off, things were looking relatively rosy for Bianca Belair, and as the Ups in this article will attest to, the going was at times extremely good.

But not good enough to overcome her own de-push following a SummerSlam squash loss to Becky Lynch. She couldn’t get her belt back, couldn’t regain the poise and cool they’d thoughtlessly robbed from her, and is now just another cog in the machine awaiting its next splash of grease.

But that’s WWE in a nutshell now. Decent at occasionally making stars but truly excellent at always breaking them. Belair’s plight has been shared by far too many females on the roster.

Just how much they've dominated the discussion in the Downs highlights a far wider issue. 'The EST' can only do so much when she's part of the worst division in half a decade...
