The ghosts of the disappointing All Out were exorcised in Jacksonville last night, as AEW consigned that pay-per-view to the past with a ripper of a show that peaked as high as anything the promotion has delivered all year, hampered only by a couple of moderate missteps.

While some of these matches felt underdeveloped coming into the night, a fantastic Countdown show and Red Carpet Special helped fill in the gaps. The extra effort put several storylines over the top and likely convinced more than a few people to get the credit card out and part with hard-earned cash. Those who did so were richly rewarded, as AEW delivered a deep, varied, and story-rich night that perhaps could have used some trimming, but still closed this arc of programming in effective, exciting fashion.

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston's "I Quit" match for the AEW World Championship main-evented, Kenny Omega vs. Hangman Page opened, and the evening's two title changes were sandwiched in between. The commentators all had strong nights, with Jim Ross particularly complementary to the action, and AEW designed a custom pay-per-view set for the first time since the onset of the global health crisis, decorating the Full Gear stage with, well, gears.
