2. Where's The Beef?

Shera vs. Jake Something should have been a big beefy hoss fight, but instead, it was a case of Shera aimlessly wailing at Something, doing little damage to the Deaner cousin, whereas Jake’s forearms were awfully weak. His corner Superman Spear was decent, as was his Michinoku Driver. Interference from Rohit Raju led to Shera picking up the win with a sit-down Spinebuster.

It just wasn’t good. Your writer is far from the biggest Shera fan, but even he is capable of a decent match when paired against the right opponent.

Jake Something was surely destined for much bigger things when The Deaners broke up. While this did happen for a while (the match vs. Moose still stands out), he’s now been relegated to sh*te like this. The same applies to Rohit Raju.

How can IMPACT do so well to build these guys up – Rohit being a former X Division Champion, mind – only to misuse them like they’re nothing? As of writing, this hasn’t even folded over into a Rebellion pre-show match. What gives?
