4. Jungle Boy = Bad Ass
Speaking of which.
Adam Cole and The Bucks interrupted a Jurassic Express promo backstage to batter Jungle Boy then crash Luchasaurus through a nearby table. One of the best things about AEW programming is that it rarely lets such things lie. There's usually some comeuppance for that heel badness.
JB marched out following the six-man and started swinging a steel chair around. The Bucks and Cole split, so he hammered Brandon Cutler with the chair and received a top response from the Dynamite crowd for doing so. Dispensing with the usual feel good vibes surrounding Boy was smart.
He looked like a star here. AEW needs to present Jungle like this more often, because he has a real chance of breaking out and reaching MJF levels if they show some more consistency with him and relinquish that understandable desire to "cartoonify" his character.
