1. Adam Copeland Feels Like A HUGE Deal

In the main event segment, Adam Copeland set out his mission statement.

He exuded incredible star presence. It was as if the last three years hadn't happened, almost: he looked energised, like a living legend descending on the ring for one last ride. He genuinely has never looked taller.

Clearly having the time of his life, he revealed that he plans on winning the World title (every debuting star should say this), working a match with Kenny Omega (the prospect of which generated a monstrous reaction), and, after inviting Christian Cage to join him, said he wants to prove that they are still one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

This was just a massive deal. Copeland was great. He was passionate and earnest, and where that bordered on cringeworthy throughout his last WWE run, here, he undercut it with self-deprecation and a glimmer of the cruel wit that deserted him three years ago.

He said that he wasn't going to refer to himself in the third person ever again and - what a line - said that Christian with his face all "pursed" "looks even more like a d*ck than usual".

Great stuff, and it got even better when Copeland admonished Cage for trying to take Sting out. The boy who once got his hair styled like Sting has grown into a man that Adam no longer recognises.

Christian's response was, sorry, an instant classic: he simply deadpanned "Go f*ck yourself". Seven star heel work and nothing less. That was his best friend of 40 years!

This already holds the potential to be a seminal run.
