8 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 8)
6. The Draw Is Back
By the looks of things, Sami Callihan has reverted back into his incredible aura of 'The Draw' as opposed to hacking the show. After bloodying the face of Eddie Edwards with a baseball bat yet again, the former World Champion took to the mic this week to state how he's the one responsible for bringing Impact Wrestling out of its hole.
Furthermore, Callihan was ambushed by Eddie while he was distracted by Alisha Edwards at ringside. Like the first time, the baseball bat incident has brought out this new side of Eddie that turned his career around in the right direction. The work the pair had done together in their original rivalry was some of their career-best. If they're able to recreate any of that hype in an empty arena, then they may very well be two of Impact's most credible stars in history.
Just watch the embedded video. For moments like that, words can't often do it justice.
There's no match between them set for Final Resolution, but expect to see some sort of confrontation at Hard To Kill. Impact management would be foolish to not do all they can with this rivalry. Just think back to how they made Impact a must-see show when they first fought, and turn the intensity up a little.
