Another Tuesday edition of NXT saw Finn Bálor lift the vacant NXT Championship, Shotzi Blackheart staking her claim for the NXT Women's Championship, and a tantalising Steel Cage Match between Rhea Ripley and Mercedes Martinez. All in all, it was another decent Super Tuesday.

As a result, it gave Impact Wrestling yet another hurdle to overcome in terms of maintaining that Tuesday night audience. Just like last week, they didn't let the pressure get to them in any way, instead putting on another barnstormer of an episode.

The main story came with the recently retired Rich Swann hobbling down to ringside for the first time since calling it a day, seeking retribution against Eric Young for forcing him into an early retirement. 'The World Class Maniac' was in the main event slot yet again, this time facing Tommy Dreamer.

Elsewhere on the night, The Motor City Machine Guns and The Rascalz had a second brilliant bout following their Slammiversary encounter, TJP cemented his status as Rohit Raju's first challenger for the X Division Championship, Taya Valkyrie began the planning for John E. Bravo and Rosemary's wedding, and Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes revealed the creation of their own talk show.
