Joining in all the fun as yet another celebrity ostensibly booked for being a heel rather than a smiling face of the small or silver screen, disgraced baseball player Pete Rose was in amazing form winding up the Bostonians for their "cursed" World Series' drought.

The heat was cheap, but its purity was distilled through the dynamite delivery of Rose. The patter saw him brought back to WrestleManias twice more after Kane's arrival resulted in 'Charlie Hustle' taking a Tombstone here.
